LAS VEGAS — How many registered attendees were there between Saturday and Wednesday afternoon at the 2022 NAB Show? We have the answer — along with the official dates for the 2023 affair in Southern Nevada.

The National Association of Broadcasters has put the preliminary registered attendance for this year’s conference and expo at 52,468.

While that is significantly lower than in 2019, one must consider the fact that NAB 2022 was arguably one of the world’s largest multi-day conferences of this magnitude since NATPE Miami in January 2020. NATPE has moved the affair to Los Angeles, and its return will no longer involve South Florida.

“We are thrilled that our exhibitors, attendees and partners from all corners of the world turned out in force this week in Las Vegas. The enthusiasm and engagement on the show floor, in sessions and throughout the entire event have been invigorating,” said NAB President and CEO Curtis LeGeyt, who received kudos for a great show everywhere he went — including the Encore Tower Suites on Wednesday afternoon as the NAB Show had reached its conclusion. “We thank the NAB Show community for making this year’s convention an incredible experience as we get back to doing business in person.”

TOTAL REGISTERED ATTENDEES: 52,468

INTERNATIONAL ATTENDEES: 11,542

COUNTRIES REPRESENTED: 155

International attendance figures are included in the overall registration number. All numbers are based on pre-show and onsite registration and subject to an ongoing audit.

2023 DATES REVEALED

The NAB also announced that the 2023 NAB Show, the centennial celebration of the first NAB Show, will be held April 15–19, 2023 in Las Vegas.
