The Real“The Real” is produced by Telepictures Productions in association with  and distributed by Warner Bros. TV. Singer Tamar Braxton, ’90s icon Tamera Mowry-Housley, comedian Loni Love, “Cheetah Girls” star Adrienne Bailon and stylist Jeannie Mai are all in on “The Real,” a new talk show Fox is testing for four weeks beginning 7/15.

The show is being shown in a handful of FOX O&O stations including KTVU San Francisco/Oakland; WAGA Atlanta; KRIV Houston; KTTV Los Angeles; and WTXF Philadelphia. It’s aimed as a replacement for “Anderson”, which is now being bumped over to late nights.

“It is a huge girlfriend gabfest. I can’t wait to hear what’s gonna come out of these girls’ mouths,” says Mowry-Housley, of “Sister, Sister” fame.

“It’s like five Wendys [as in Williams] except we have five different opinions,” adds Braxton. “It’s real like Steve Harvey, and it’s coming from a woman’s perspective, like ‘The View.’ ”

“Jersey Shore” mastermind Sally Ann Salsano is producing the show which airs weekdays at noon after Kris Jenner’s new show.

The NY Daily News reports “The Real” hopes to follow in the footsteps of Williams, Bethenny Frankel and TMZ, whose shows were picked up full-time by Fox after successful summer test runs.

“We have a little bit of everything on the table,” says Love. “I am the funny, crazy person. Adrienne is our hip-hop girl. You have Tamar, who is the hip new mother; and Tamera, who is a little more conservative; and Jeannie, our fashion queen.

Discussion topics range from sex (“People don’t know this about me, but I love sex!” says Mowry-Housley) to period-friendly snacks (Braxton raves about French toast-flavored goldfish crackers) and celeb gossip.
