The Retail Parade: Full Of Spots At Broadcast TV

Despite what you may have seen prior to Halloween, the official holiday shopping season has begun. As such, some of the nation’s key brick-and-mortar retail chains are putting their dollars into spot television to reach consumers.


Which department store comes out on top?

It’s Target, according to the latest Media Monitors Spot Ten TV report.

The retailer, which had a strong Q3, is slightly ahead of Walmart.

At No.3 is Macy’s, while JCPenney revs up its advertising efforts by placing at No. 4 for the week ending Dec. 1.

Also increasing its activity is Kohl’s, putting it at No. 10.
