“The Suite Life on Deck” is Friday’s No. 1 Telecast on TV Across All Key Kids Demos, and is the Most-Watched Entertainment Telecast on Cable. Led by the “Suite Life” Finale, Disney Channel Claims the Night’s Top 3 Telecasts on TV in both Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14.

Friday, June 18, 2010 Powered by the one-hour Season 2 finale event of “The Suite Life on Deck,” Disney Channel was Friday’s No. 1 cable network in Prime in Total Viewers (2.9 million) and TV’s No. 1 network in Kids 6-11 (1.3 million/5.1 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.1 million/4.7 rating), crushing No. 2 Nick-at-Nite by 213% (1.3 million vs. 403,000) and 154% (1.1 million vs. 450,000), respectively. On a Total Day basis, Disney Channel ranked a dominant No. 1 in Kids 6-11 (812,000/3.3 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (726,000/3.0 rating).

“The Suite Life on Deck” stood as Friday’s No. 1 TV telecast in Kids 6-11 (1.5 million/6.3 rating – tie) and Tweens 9-14 (1.6 million/6.4 rating), and Friday’s most-watched entertainment telecast on cable in Total Viewers (3.7 million).

In both Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14, the Season 2 finale of “The Suite Life on Deck,” “Sonny With a Chance” and “Good Luck Charlie” ranked as Friday’s Top 3 telecasts on TV overall.

At 8 o’clock, the one-hour finale of “The Suite Life on Deck” (8:00 – 9:00 p.m.) posted the show’s best numbers in 5 months (since 1/22/10) in Total Viewers and Tweens 9-14 and in more than 3 months (since 3/5/10) with Kids 6-11.

Furthermore, the second season of “The Suite Life on Deck” built over its first season by 5% in Total Viewers (4.0 million vs. 3.8 million), by 6% in Kids 6-11 (1.8 million vs. 1.7 million) and by 7% in Tweens 9-14 (1.6 million vs. 1.5 million).
