'The Talk' growing among women 25-54 on CBS O&O's

CBS Stations in New York, Los Angeles and Denver Score Largest Year-to-Year Growth.

Nationally During Thanksgiving Week, “The Talk” Delivered Its Largest Audience and Matches Highs in Key Women Demos

THE TALK, CBS’s new daytime talk show, delivered impressive growth among women 25-54 on the CBS-owned stations during the recently concluded November sweep, according to Nielsen live plus same day metered market ratings for the period of Oct. 28-Nov. 24.

On the 14 CBS-owned stations, THE TALK improved the year-ago time period among women 25-54 by +33% (0.8 from 0.6).

Among the CBS stations seeing the biggest year-to-year increases in women 25-54 were KCNC, Denver, up +175%; KCBS, Los Angeles, up +67%; WCBS, New York, up +57%; and WFOR, Miami, up +33%.

Other CBS Stations posting November-to-November time period gains were KDKA, Pittsburgh, up +25%; KTVT, Dallas, up +20%; and WJZ, Baltimore and WBZ, Boston, both up +20%.

  Nationally during a shortened Thanksgiving week, THE TALK delivered 2.29 million viewers – its largest audience since its premiere – and matched series highs in women 18-49 (0.8/05), women 25-54 (1.0/06) and women 18-34 (0.6/04), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Nov. 26.
