Airing the 2010 TEEN CHOICE AWARDS last night, FOX dominated among Teen viewers, winning the night among Teens and beating the next highest-rated network by +189% in that demo.
2010 TEEN CHOICE AWARDS (S): Posted a 1.5/5 among Adults 18-49, up +7% from last year’s telecast on 8/10/09.
The TEEN CHOICE AWARDS also made gains of +14% among Adults 18-34, +4% in Teens and +5% in Total Viewers versus last year’s telecast
In addition to ranking No. 1 among Teens and Men 18-34, FOX ranked No. 3 for the night among Adults 18-49 and No. 2 in Adults 18-34.
Competition
On ABC, the series premiere of Bachelor Pad posted a 2.2/7, down -21% from The Bachelorette’s Summer 2010 premiere this May (2.8/8 on Mon 5/24/10). At 10p, the season premiere of Dating in the Dark delivered a 1.8/5, down -25% from its premiere last summer (2.4/7 on Mon 7/20/09).
CBS aired repeats of How I Met Your Mother (1.7/6), Rules of Engagement (1.7/5), Two and a Half Men (2.4/7), The Big Bang Theory (2.7/8) and CSI: Miami (1.5/4).
Following an 8p America’s Got Talent encore (1.3/4), the season finale of NBC’s Last Comic Standing (1.5/4) posted its lowest original rating ever, down -12% from last week’s telecast and down -6% from its most recent finale two years ago on 8/7/08 (1.6/5).
