BONES: 2.7/7, down -4% from last week but was up +1% in Total Viewers (9.0 million vs. 8.9 million)
ABC aired a lineup of holiday specials. From 8-10p, Wipeout: Deck the Balls and America’s Funniest Home Videos Christmas Spectacular each posted a 1.9/5. The Great Big American Auction finished the night at a 1.4/4.
On CBS, The Big Bang Theory (4.7/14) was down -11% from its last original telecast, while Rules of Engagement (3.2/9) delivered a season low, down -11% from its last airing. Person of Interest (3.0/8, up +15%) and The Mentalist (3.0/, up +20%) were both likely inflated due to an NFL pre-emption in Pittsburgh last night.
Following Community (1.5/4, down -12%), NBC’s Parks & Recreation (1.7/5, down -6%) posted a series low. At 9p, The Office (2.9/8, flat) matched its lowest original rating ever on a Thursday night. Whitney at 9:30p (1.9/5, flat) tied its lowest original rating to date, followed by a special airing of Grimm (1.6/4, flat with its last Friday telecast) tied its season low.
