The new singing competition series from Syco Television and FremantleMedia North America debuting this fall on Fox has upped added to its auditions venue with specially built state-of-the-art “MyStudio” HD recording studios, allowing hopefuls the chance to audition if they aren’t able to make it to the open auditions. They open 4/8 in Honolulu and Phoenix. Additional studios will open in Nashville on 4/9; Anchorage on 4/12; Kansas City, KS, on 4/15; and Denver on 4/16. The studios will stay open until 4/30.

Throughout the month, anyone 12+ (both solo artists and vocal groups) will have the opportunity to use the studios to audio and video record their a cappella audition and state why they think they have what it takes to be a global superstar.

The show allows contestants a chance to become a global superstar and win a $5 million recording contract with Syco/Sony Music. Antonio “L.A.” Reid, former Chairman of Island Def Jam Music Group, joins Simon Cowell on the judging panel.
