Fisher Communications announced that it has signed affiliation agreements with MGM’s new “THIS-TV” for digital multicast channels in three markets: Seattle, WA and Portland and Eugene, OR. The digital programming service has already launched on KATU-DT2 in Portland and will be added in the other two markets in coming months. THIS is the new offering from MGM and Weigel Broadcasting drawing from more than 4,100 films and 10,000 hours of television programming in the MGM library.
