With students set to return to school in one week in Hawaii and over the next several weeks in much of the U.S., families are still in the midst of summer holidays both near and far from home. Trivago is well aware of this, in addition to the planning now underway for the busy winter holiday season. The result of this awareness can be seen across cable TV.

In last week’s Media Monitors Cable Spot Ten report, Trivago was No. 1 again, with 57,497 spots. That’s a considerable rise for the previous week, when 50,177 spots were tracked on the cable TV networks Media Monitors observes.

In fact, Trivago has steadily increased its activity at Cable TV throughout July. For the week ending July 9, it ascended to the No. 1 spot with 44,968 spots.

Trivago first emerged as a Cable TV player following the Memorial Day holiday weekend, rising from No. 8 to No. 1 with some 36,760 ads.

Meanwhile, the auto insurance category remains well-represented at Cable TV, with GEICO, Progressive, Liberty Mutual Insurance, and Allstate present.
