Three Rivers flow in the Ozarks

0

A radio group straddling the Missouri-Arkansas border is going from two to seven stations, forming a daisy-chain cluster with two distinct markets as defined by the old contour overlap method. The group is Three Rivers Communications, owned by Paul & Elizabeth Coates and Fred & Barbara White. They are getting KWPM-AM/KSPQ-FM & KDDY-FM West Plains MO and KUKU AM-FM Willow Springs MO. The seller is Tom J. Markefka, using licensee names Missouri Ozark Radio Network for four of the stations, except KDDY, licensed under the name Central Ozark Radio Network. The price is $2.1M cash. Three Rivers already has KBMV-FM Birch Tree MO and KHOM-FM Salem AR in the area.
