Thursday second-place to CBS w/ 'CSI' winning 9pm

THE BIG BANG THEORY and $#*! MY DAD SAYS posted increases in viewers and demos from their last first-run episodes, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in viewers and THE MENTALIST posted an across-the-board win at 10:00 PM, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Thursday, Feb. 3.


THE BIG BANG THEORY was second in households (8.0/13), viewers (13.82m), adults 25-54 (5.6/13) and adults 18-49 (4.3/12).  Compared to the last first-run episode (on Jan. 20, 2011), THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +2% in both adults 25-54 (from 5.5/14) and adults 18-49 (from 4.2/12) and added +190,000 viewers (from 13.63m, +1%).  

$#*! MY DAD SAYS was second in households (6.3/10), viewers (10.50m), adults 25-54 (3.9/09) and adults 18-49 (2.8/07).  Compared to last week, $#*! MY DAD SAYS was up +17% in households (from 5.4/08), +18% in adults 25-54 (from 3.3/08), +22% in adults 18-49 (from 2.3/06) and added +1.76m viewers (from 8.74m, +20%).  

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was first in households (8.4/13) and viewers (13.80m); it was second in adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and averaged a 3.0/08 in adults 18-49. 

THE MENTALIST was first in households (9.1/15), viewers (15.05m), adults 25-54 (4.2/11) and adults 18-49 (2.8/08).  Compared to the last first-run episode (on Jan. 20, 2011), THE MENTALIST was even in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 and added +230,000 viewers (from 14.82m, +2%).  

For the night, CBS was second in households (8.2/13), viewers (13.67m), adults 25-54 (4.4/11) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (3.1/08, with ABC).
