Broadcast viewing was impacted by the season debut of Monday Night Football (which included ABC in two markets), and the result was a tie for 1st between CBS and ABC, and a tie for 3rd between NBC and Univision, both close enough that it was almost a four-way tie for first. Fox trailed the pack.
