Ray is former Director of Engineering of Buckley Broadcasting and WOR Radio in New York City. During his 15-year tenure with WOR, he rebuilt the entire facility from microphones to towers. He made WOR the first high-power AM HD radio station in the world. Tom is author of the book “HD Radio Implementation” published by Focal Press. In addition, he has published several papers for the NAB’s Broadcast Engineering Conference, has been on the SBE Board of Directors and was Chairman of SBE Chapter 15 in New York City for 9 years. Tom presently owns Tom Ray Broadcast Consulting and is based in New Windsor, NY. Tom has extensive experience with Burk products.
