Tonight: John Isner from Wimbledon

John Isner, the American who won the longest tennis match in history last Thursday at Wimbledon, will present the Top Ten List on the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, Monday, June 28 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.  In the epic 11-hour, five-minute match that spanned three days, Isner finally defeated Nicolas Mahut of France with score of 6-4, 3-6, 6-7 (7), 7-6 (3) and a remarkable fifth-set 70-68. 


Ironically, Isner was eliminated from Wimbledon the following day when he lost the shortest men’s match so far at the tournament, falling to unseeded Thiemo de Bakker of the Netherlands, 6-0 6-3, 6-2 on Friday.

Also visiting the LATE SHOW on Monday, June 28, are actress Kristen Stewart from the highly anticipated new film, “The Twilight Saga:  Eclipse”; Gary Faulkner, the American who traveled to Pakistan to hunt down Osama Bin Laden; and musical guests Tokyo Police Club.
