Tough economy shuts down TN station

Newschannel 5 Nashville reports tough economic times have forced a mid-state Tennessee radio station off the air. WDKN-AM Dickson signed off for the last time Thursday at noon. Employees at the station were told just hours before the closure. WDKN management said the station had undergone changes in recent months that included more automated broadcasts. The station first went on the air in 1955.
