Publicly traded SBA Communications is the new owner of The Santa Barbara Tower Complex. The two towers completed in 2001 are 150 feet tall and 120 feet tall, but soar over 4,000 feet high above the Pacific Ocean on Broadcast Peak.
Details of the sale were not disclosed, but RBR-TVBR had previously reported an asking price of $2.4 million. The site appears to have quite a bit of capacity remaining, with Qualcomm, Entravision Television, and EMF Radio as the current major tenants.
Bob Heymann of Media Services Group was the broker for the sale by Santa Barbara Tower.
