Townsquare shares have rebounded sharply since suffering some June gloom, with TSQ dipping as low as $7.33 on June 27, 2016. As of 3:17 p.m. Eastern on Friday (1/20), Townsquare was up 3.9%, to $10.17.
Townsquare is known for two key divisions: Radio, which is comprised of 312 small- and medium-market stations across the U.S.; and a growing entertainment and digital marketing solutions arm delivering some 550 live events annually across North America.
On Jan. 9, the company bulked up its video programming initiatives by hiring Andy Meyer as VP/Original Programming and Head of Video. Townsquare is one of the leading producers of premium video programming on YouTube with a Multi-Channel Network of 384 channels.
Meyer’s resume includes roles as VP/Original Programming for NBC Sports Network (formerly Versus) and Fuse Media.
