Oklahoma Radio Legend’s Family Shuffles Licenses


One of the first individuals to own an FM in the state of Oklahoma is a man who first gained fame at a major Top 40 radio station, and later became a heralded Country radio superstar. He passed away in late 2015, putting his stations in a trust controlled by his widow.

Now, one of those stations — operated by his son’s radio group for 23 years — is being spun.
