As RBR + TVBR reported on Tuesday (4/11), some 7,453 FM translators and boosters were licensed nationwide as of the end of Q1 2017.
By comparison, there are now 6,754 commercially licensed FMs in the U.S. With tiny FMs outnumbering full-power facilities, it seems only natural that on the slowest of days for deals, the two facilities changing hands are translators.
