Transportation stocks led the way as stock prices moved higher on Thursday, a day after encouraging words from Fed chief Ben Bernanke. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 72 points, or 0.6%, to 12,763. Broadcasting stocks rode the train higher.
The RBR Radio Index was up 5.898, or 1.5%, to 409.537.
The TVBR Television Index was up 1.423, or 0.5%, to 278.369.
