World Wrestling Entertainment and Tribune Company’s WGN America announced an agreement to create a new weekly, one hour prime time series entitled, “WWE Superstars” that will debut in April 2009. “Details will be forthcoming,” they said.
RBR/TVBR observation: We’re thinking a weekly grudge match, with a discontented Tribune employee taking on Sam “Grave Dancer” Zell. The thing is, if it would draw big ratings and make lots of money, Sam would probably say OK.
