Tribune, The CW partner on "The Bill Cunningham Show"

Tribune Broadcasting’s daytime talker has been renewed for a second season, and The CW and Tribune announced a distribution deal for the show where The CW will add it to their weekday afternoon lineup beginning this Fall.  “The Bill Cunningham Show” will air Monday-Friday, 3:00-4:00 p.m., on The CW Network stations nationwide beginning in September.


The 60-minute program hosted by Cunningham, an attorney and nationally syndicated talk radio host, launched on Tribune Broadcasting stations to in Fall 2011. ITV Studios America will continue to produce “The Bill Cunningham Show” with a live studio audience at NEP Penn Studios in Manhattan. 

“Since the launch of The Bill Cunningham Show six months ago, the show has exceeded expectations and found a strong voice in the daytime talk landscape.  ITV Studios and Executive Producer Kim Brechka have produced a very successful first season, and the renewal and expansion of the show to a national platform are a testament to Bill’s staying power,” said Sean Compton, President of Programming and Entertainment, Tribune Broadcasting.
