The ranks of stations owned by women will increase a bit when Obidia Porras closes on her acquisition of K45DU and K67HK, a pair of low power television stations coming from Paul Crouch’s Trinity Broadcasting Network. The first station is north of Los Angeles in Ventura CA and the latter is in St. George UT, along the southern edge of the state. According to Kalil & Co., the acquisition will double the Porras portfolio – she already has LPTVs in Lancaster and Barstow CA.
