Triton Gets IAB OK On Podcast Measurement

Podcasts are big business these days, with many broadcast radio companies highly invested in the space. That’s why this announcement from The E.W. Scripps Co.’s Triton Digital could be of big importance to your C-Suite, and your company’s bottom line.

The global technology and services provider to the digital audio and podcast industry says it is among the first companies to secure the IAB Tech Lab Podcast Measurement Compliance verification.

Triton’s Podcast Metrics can be used to analyze how, when and where podcast content is being consumed across multiple hosting platforms, and has the ability to view metrics by date range, location, device, podcast name, episode, and title.

The IAB Tech Lab Podcast Measurement Certification essentially verifies Triton’s current metrics, provides credibility of its measurement solution, and makes it — at present — the only neutral third-party company to have a CMS/CDN agnostic solution.

In addition, this “seal of approval” extends to Triton’s Ad Server, Tap, and its measurement of impressions and downloads.

“We are incredibly proud of this compliance verification and what it means for our business, and for the industry,” said John Rosso, President, Market Development at Triton Digital. “It reassures our clients and the industry that both Podcast Metrics and Tap are state-of-the-art, reliable solutions.”
