Talk Radio Network Entertainment announced the launch of a new show, Now It’s The News with Derrick Blair which will take a satirical look at the events of the week and make fun of both the left and the right. The show airs live Saturday from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. PT (3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET).
Now It’s The News examines the headlines across America featuring interviews with newsmakers, authors, and stars from the world of entertainment. Listeners will hear comedy sketches that send up the biggest names in politics and culture and hear politicians from DC and around the world skewered with their own words.
When you have spent the week taking the news seriously; now it’s time to laugh at the left and the right with Now It’s The News. Standard mainstream media favoritism won’t fly here. “We won’t play favorites,” says Blair. “This show isn’t about taking sides; it’s about taking pot shots at those sides.”
Host and radio veteran Derrick Blair has worked in the radio industry for over 15 years. He’s talked to some of the biggest names in the business and many of the smaller ones, too. Blairs’ satirical style; behind the mic, in front of the mic, and even several feet away from it, will amuse and entertain you while digesting the week’s events in true comedy form.
Now It’s The News airs live Saturday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. PT (3 p.m. to 4 p.m. PT).
