Tribune, Fox Ink New Multi-Year Deal

Tribune Broadcasting has reached a multi-year renewal agreement with Fox Broadcasting Co. to renew the existing FOX affiliates for six of its TV stations.


The new deal means that FOX will not be shifting its programming anytime soon from KSWB-TV in San Diego, KTXL-TV in Sacramento, WXIN-TV in Indianapolis, WTIC-TV in Hartford, WXMI-TV in Grand Rapids and WPMT-TV in Harrisburg, Pa.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Tribune Media is comprised of Tribune Broadcasting’s 42 owned or operated local television stations, WGN-AM 720 and WGN-9 in Chicago, the WGN America cable network, national multicast networks Antenna TV and THIS TV, Tribune Studios, and Gracenote, one of the world’s top sources of video, music and sports metadata.
