As part of the Peak Broadcasting Chapter 11 proceedings, a filing was made Wednesday (1/18) to move the FCC licenses into a Trust, overseen by Trustee Claudia Siegle Horn. She is Executive Vice President and CFO of Broadcast Management and Technology (BMT).
According to an announcement by BMT, the Trust will commence immediately following FCC approval of the license transfers. The application will be filed at the Commission following the Trust’s approval by the Bankruptcy Court. Siegle Horn is a 25 year veteran operating on all sides of the broadcast financial landscape, from lender to operating group CFO.
BMT is headed by President and CEO Jay Meyers, who currently operates the Fort Collins/Lafayette Divestiture Trust, and in 2010 handled the Regent Trust. Meyers is also CEO of Adelante Media Group LLC.
