Godwin’s Plan: More Markets Taken At Townsquare

0

Kevin Godwin knows a thing or two about some of the largest markets of the Mountain West. From September 1994 through March 2007 he served as a Regional Manager and GM in such cities as Boise, Idaho; Colorado Springs; and Richland and Spokane, Wash., for Citadel Broadcasting.

From April 2007 through December 2013, he was a SVP at Peak Broadcasting.

Now, he’s a SVP at the company he joined as a Regional VP some six years ago: Townsquare Media.

As an SVP, the former Northwest Regional Vice President adds additional market oversight responsibilities and, as such, will relinquish his current Boise Market President duties.

This results in Townsquare/Grand Junction, Colo., Market President and Chief Revenue Officer Rick Carmean succeeding Godwin in the Boise role.

Townsquare’s stations in Boise are comprised of Country KAWO-FM, Hot AC KCIX-FM, Top 40 KSAS-FM, AC KXLT-FM, Talk KIDO-AM and FM and Sports KFXD-AM 630.

Carmean joined Townsquare in March 2016 for the Grand Junction job after leading Red Zebra Broadcasting — the now-defunct entity created by Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder — as CEO.

Who’s succeeding Carmean in Colorado?

That would be the cluster’s Director of Sales, Natalie Redding.
