Tuesday belongs to CBS w/ 'NCIS' duo

Eighth-year drama NCIS set another series ratings record by attracting an audience of 22.85m million viewers while posting its highest adult 18-49 delivery since October 2009, leading CBS to a Tuesday win in all key measures, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Feb. 1.


NCIS was first in households (13.2/20), viewers (22.85m), adults 25-54 (6.5/16) and adults 18-49 (4.6/12).  NCIS posted series highs in both households and viewers, matched series highs in adults 25-54 (with Sept. 22, 2009, and Oct. 20, 2009) and posted its best delivery in adults 18-49 since Oct. 20, 2009.  NCIS beat NBC, ABC, FOX and CW combined in viewers (22.85m vs. 20.37m, +12%). 

NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in households (10.4/16), viewers (17.70m), adults 25-54 (5.2/12) and adults 18-49 (3.8/09).  NCIS: LOS ANGELES posted its best delivery in adults 25-54 since Feb. 9, 2010 and its best adults 18-49 performance since Oct. 19, 2010. 

THE GOOD WIFE was first in households (7.7/13), viewers (12.14m) and adults 25-54 (3.2/08), and tied for first in adults 18-49 (2.2/06, with NBC).  Compared to the last first-run episode (on Jan. 18, 2011), THE GOOD WIFE was up +1% in households (from 7.6/13), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 2.1/06), even in adults 25-54 and added +710,000 viewers (from 11.43m, +6%). 

CBS was first in households (10.5/16), viewers (17.56m), adults 25-54 (5.0/12) and adults 18-49 (3.5/09) on Tuesday night.  CBS delivered its largest Tuesday audience since Jan. 5, 2010, and its best adults 25-54 rating since Feb. 9, 2010.
