TuneIn Streams WW1 Olympics Coverage

RIO-WWO-LogoLockupTuneIn is carrying Westwood One’s Olympics coverage. The coverage is available through a special contract with Olympics rights holder NBCUniversal.


This marks the first time TuneIn has streamed live Olympic content to fans in the U.S. TuneIn listeners will be able to hear WWO coverage of the Rio Olympics through streaming and mobile apps.

Westwood One is the official national radio partner for The 2016 Rio Olympics; the broadcaster will provide short and long-form updates with highlights, analysis and results, plus live play-by-play of Team USA basketball (men’s and women’s), Team USA Women’s soccer (plus men’s gold medal game) and Olympic golf.

A division of NBC Sports Group, NBC Olympics is responsible for producing, programming and promoting NBCUniversal’s Olympic coverage. NBCUniversal has the broadcast rights in the USA for the Olympic Games through 2032. Those rights run across all media platforms, including over-the-air television, subscription television, Internet, and mobile.

SiriusXM launched, “Rio Olympics Radio,” a 24/7 channel that is airing Westwood One coverage through an agreement with WWO and NBCUniversal.
