TV Ad Spend Up

That’s according to the Standard Media Index, which showed TV advertising grew 5% in February compared to the same month a year ago.

Syndication was 15% higher, with national cable TV adding 11% and local cable advertising gaining 9%, reported MediaPost.

Broadcast network and local TV advertising showed slightly weaker results, with national TV down 2% and spot TV advertising nearly flat, up 1%.
