With much of America heading in to the Independence Day weekend, the organization dedicated to promoting local media marketing solutions to the advertising community — via broadcast TV — lit a sparkler of its own Thursday morning.
It issued a statement on “trust and ad-supported media” that squarely takes on Facebook, addressing the #StopHateForProfit movement that has squelched the flow of ad dollars to social media by a host of big brands.
