Two Members Of Congress Want FCC Diversity Reboot

NEW YORK — In a move that went largely unnoticed until late Monday, a Member of the House of Representative and a Senator from Maryland teamed in sending a letter May 10 to FCC Chairman Ajit Pai urging the commission to reinstate practices to collect data on broadcast workforce diversity.


As they see it, the FCC is required by law to collect this information. But, it has “failed to do so.”
