Following its rebranding as Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, the radio giant has promoted two veteran broadcasters to multi-market executive roles. Hartley Adkins, pictured on left, has been named Executive Vice President of Operations for the Mid-Major markets and John Rohm, pictured on right, will take on the role as Senior Vice President of Operations overseeing the Southeast market.

Both positions are effective immediately and both Adkins and Rohm will report directly to John Hogan, President and CEO of Clear Channel Media and Entertainment.

Adkins most recently served as Senior Vice President of Operations for the Southeast market, overseeing the operation of 36 Clear Channel markets in his region. With more than 20 years in radio, he had previously been Market Manager for Clear Channel’s Washington, DC and Baltimore markets.

John Rohm, former Philadelphia Market Manager, will take on the role as Senior Vice President of Operations overseeing the Southeast market. Rohm is a radio veteran of more than 30 years and previously served as Market Manager in the Pittsburgh and Cincinnati markets.

“Clear Channel Media and Entertainment is dedicated to continually strengthening the quality of talent on our teams including our top-level team and we put a priority on recognizing our high performers who will make the greatest impact and advance our goals,” said Hogan.  “With their proven performance, leadership and experience, Hartley and John will help ensure our local markets operate effectively and efficiently and provide our company with real opportunities for growth.”

In addition, Brad Hardin, Senior Vice President of Programming, now serves as programming partner to Adkins in the Mid-Major markets; and Jon Zellner, Senior Vice President of Programming, now serves as programming partner to Tom McConnell, Senior Vice President of Operations for the Northeast regional markets.
