Two radio pioneers dead

In Philadelphia, local talk radio pioneer Frank Ford has died at 92. The Philadelphia Inquirer traced his radio career back to 1937 and said he worked at just about every station in the market at one time or another, until he retired in 2000. In Chicago, veteran DJ and songwriter Richard Pegue has died at 64. His on-air career included long stints at WVON, WGCI and other Chicago stations.
