Miller Media Group’s WHOW-AM and WEZC-FM in Clinton, IL are off the air after a fire at their transmitter building. The fire started at 4:15 Friday afternoon. Motorists saw smoke and alerted station personnel. Three fire departments battled the flames. The building was a total loss. They hope to be back on the air at low power soon, but it will be several days before the stations are back at full power, reported WCIA-TV.
