Analog radio across the pond may be history by the first half of 2018, as Linda Smith, CEO of RadioCentre (Britain’s commercial radio trade organization), called on the UK Government earlier this month to set out a timetable for the industry’s digital switchover. Ed Vaizey, the Communications minister, is expected to do just that (including possibly a switchover date) at the Go Digital Conference 12/16.
