Fewer people applied for unemployment benefits during the last reporting period for such matters, and that led to a happy day on Wall Street. Broadcasters were happy to join the parade, especially on the TV side. And the handful of down broadcast stock were down minimally.
The RBR Radio Index rose 5.236, or 0.7%, to 799.561.
The TVBR Television Index rose 13.809, or 1.7%, to 851.629.
