The Pescadero Public Radio Service has not had KPDO-FM Pescadero CA up and running since February of 2008. So rather than simply letting the station’s license expire and be eliminated, it is transferring it to The Regents of the University of California for no consideration. The University will apply for a main studio waiver to operate it as a satellite of KZSC-FM Santa Cruz in the Monterey-Salinas Arbitron market. The station is near the coast, south of San Francisco and west of San Jose.
