Among Adults 18-34, Beating CBS for Two Consecutive Weeks

       For the second consecutive week, Univision was the 4th most -watched broadcast network in overall primetime among Adults 18-34 (981,000), beating CBS and CW.  Additionally, Univision ranked #3, beating ABC, CBS and CW, among Teens 12-17 (216,000) and Kids 2-11 (431,000)  and was the #5 ranked network among Total Viewers 2+ (3.6 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.8 million), beating CW.   

 

       Last week, Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX on 6 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-34 and Teens 12-17, on 3 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-49 and on 2 out of 7 nights among Total Viewers 2+.

 

       Univision had 3 of the Top 30 Programs of the week among Adults 18-34 and Teens 12-17.

 

       On Friday night Univision was the 2nd most-watched broadcast network in overall primetime among Adults 18-49 (1.8 million), Adults 18-34 (1.0 million) and Teens 12-17 (278,000), beating ABC, CBS, FOX and CW.  Also on this night Univision was the #3 ranked network among Total Viewers 2+ (3.7 million).

 

       Two of the Top 3 Programs on Friday night were on Univision among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 with #2 “Hasta Que El Dinero Nos Separe”(For Love or Money) and #3 a special 2-hour  episode of “Corazon Salvaje” (Wild Heart).

 

       Univision was the #3 network in overall primetime on Wednesday (977,000) and Thursday (1.2 million) night among Adults 18-34, beating ABC, CBS and CW.  

 

       Last week, “Hasta Que El Dinero Nos Separe” (For Love or Money) made Univision the #3 ranked network in the M-F/8-9pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.4 million), Women 18-34 (731,000) and Teens 12-17 (287,000), beating ABC, CBS and CW in the hour.

 

        “Corazon Salvaje” (Wild Heart) premiered last Monday in the  M-F/9-10pm  hour with an average audience of 4.1 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.2 million Adults 18-34, 2.1 million Adults 18-49 and 1.5 million Persons 12-34.   The novela’s premiere episode delivered more Adults 18-34 than CBS’ “CSI: Miami” and “Accidentally on Purpose;” ABC’s “Castle” and the CW’s entire primetime line-up on Monday night.

 

        For the week, “Corazon Salvaje” (Wild Heart) helped Univision garner the #4 position in the  M-F/9-10pm hour, beating CBS and CW, among Adults 18-34 (1.0 million), Women 18-34 (612,000) and Teens 12-17 (244,000).

 

        In the 10pm hour, Univision’s checker-block programming helped the network to the #2 position in that hour among Adults 18-34 (919,000), Women 18-34 (545,000) and Teens 12-17 (198,000).

 

        Monday ‘s 10pm “El Show de Cristina”  (The Cristina Show) featuring the cast of the novela “Sortilegio” (Love Spell) averaged 4.0 million Total Viewers 2+, 1.2 million Adults 18-34, 2.0 million Adults 18-49 and 1.4 million Persons 12-34.  This episode of “El Show de Cristina” (The Cristina Show) was the second highest-rated telecast in the current 2009/2010 season among Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-34 and Persons 12-34.

 

        “Sábado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) made Univision the #4 ranked network on Saturday night among Adults 18-34  (622,000) , Teens 12-17 (107,000) and Kids 2-11 (330,000), beating CBS.
