Univision Communications says its KMEX-TV (Ch. 34, Univision) Los Angeles was the top-rated television station in the country for the month of April in the big money 18-49 demo, according to the Nielsen Station Index. Univision says KMEX was #1 in primetime audience delivery 18-49, ahead of Fox O&Os WNYW New York and KTTV LA in 2nd and 3rd place. It was also tops for total day, early local news and late local news, with WABC New York second in each category. Univision also notes that its WXTV New York claimed third place for early local news.
