Univision No. 1 with 12th Annual Latin Grammy Awards

The Latin GRAMMY Awards delivered an average audience of 3.1 million Adults 18-49. Addtional demos below. The awards show on Univision stations had more viewers than the combined viewership of ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 in Miami and Houston.


The biggest names in Latin music gathered last night at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas for the 12th Annual Latin GRAMMY(r) Awards, while 11.1 million viewers tuned in to all or part of the live three-hour broadcast on the Univision Network. Last night’s broadcast delivered an average audience of 5.7 million Total Viewers 2+ and positioned Univision as the No. 1 broadcast network for the entire night among Adults 18-34 for the second consecutive year.

The Latin GRAMMY Awards on Univision continue to attract more Hispanic viewers in the demographic groups of Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 than the combined audiences of the latest editions of the “Academy Awards,” “Golden Globe Awards,” and “Primetime Emmy Awards.”

The Latin GRAMMY Awards delivered an average audience of 3.1 million Adults 18-49, 1.8 million Women 18-49, 1.3 million Men 18-49 and 1.9 million Adults 18-34.

The awards show on Univision was the fourth most-watched program on all of broadcast television last night with more Adults 18-34 viewers than the first-run episodes of ABC’s “Private Practice;” CBS’ “Rules of Engagement;” NBC’s “Community,” FOX’s “The X-Factor and CW’s “The Vampire Diaries.”  

The Latin GRAMMY Awards attracted more Adults 18-49 viewers than NBC’s “Community,” and CW’s “The Vampire Diaries.”
