Univision sees top ratings crown last week


Based on Nielsen’s preliminary ratings for the weekend, Univision is set to finish as the #1 network for last week out delivering CBS, ABC, NBC and FOX among Adults 18-49.

Additionally, on Thursday night Univision was also #1 among all Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34, ahead of the English language broadcast networks, helped by the one-hour special airing of “El Gordo y La Flaca: Las 10 Estrellas de Mira Quién Baila” hosted by Raul de Molina and Lili Estefan, which introduced the 10 All-Star Cast to compete in its reality dance competition ¡Mira Quién Baila!” (Look Who’s Dancing!). 
“El Gordo y La Flaca: Las 10 Estrellas de Mira Quién Baila”: Generated 3.5 million Total Viewers 2+, 2.1 million Adults 18-49, 1.2 million Adults 18-34.

Significantly more viewers than an original airing of ABC’s “Rookie Blue,” which aired head-to-head in the 10pm hour, among Adults 18-49 (2.1 million vs. 1.4 million; +45% Adv.), Adults 18-34 (1.2 million vs. 572,000; +116% Adv.), Women 18-49 (1.3 million vs. 951,000; +33% Adv.), Men 18-49 (795,000 vs. 467,000; +70% Adv.) and Persons 12-34 (1.4 million vs. 708,000; +96% Adv.).
