Urban One Energized With Strong Q3 Performance

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Redskins are leading the NFC East. Indian Summer is bringing warm and sunshine to the National Capital Area. And, in downtown Silver Spring, Md., there is likely a little extra happiness and some beaming executives to add to the positive mood around the office.

Urban One swung to net income in Q3, although its net revenue was down 1.2% from a year ago.

With leverage closing in on the low six-times range and political revenues at a non-presidential year high, President/CEO Alfred Liggins III is “very pleased” with the results.
