Jampro Antenna / RF Systems announced that Utah Public Radio has completed the installation of a Jampro dual-input antenna to inaugurate HD broadcasting for KUSU-FM, a non-commercial station owned by Utah State University. The 6-bay Jampro model JSHD was mounted on a tower on a ridge line northwest of Logan to maximize coverage of the Salt Lake and Cache Valleys.

Replacing a 28-year old analog antenna, the Jampro dual-input digital side-mount provided KUSU with isolated and separate inputs for both analog and digital transmitters. As a result, in addition to an improved analog signal and new simulcast digital broadcast of National Public Radio and Public Radio International, KUSU now offers a new HD2 channel of classical music and a new HD3 channel that is operated on campus by the Student Radio Club.
