Westwood One announced the addition of Classic Rock WRCN-FM New York to the roster of stations airing VH1 Classic Rock Nights with Eddie Webb. The five-hour show currently airs weeknights on 40 stations nationwide and can now be heard in the #1 DMA.

VH1 Classic Rock Nights offers fans of classic rock the music and artists they love each night with radio-friendly music programming, new in-studio interviews with the biggest names in classic rock, road reports from the hottest tours, promotions and giveaways, and vintage performances and interviews from VH1 Classic’s vast classic rock archives.

“We are very excited about joining forces with Westwood One to bring Eddie Webb, live every night from Times Square, to listeners of Long Island’s heritage classic rock station,” said Charlie Lombardo, PD, WRCN. “No more liners and sweepers or stale voice tracks, say goodbye to Annie Automated and hello to VH1 Classic Rock Nights.”

Eddie Webb began his radio career at age 15 in a small town in Iowa. Since then, he has worked for leading radio stations including KUPD-Phoenix, WRCX and WLUP-Chicago, WAAF-Boston and XM Satellite Radio as one of the original “dirty dozen” PD’s. He has worked for Skid Row, Guns N’ Roses and most recently for Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s Ozzfest where he ran the VIP program for the tour. Eddie’s knowledge of rock music and his relationship with top artists give him a unique vantage point.
