Victoria FM headed to new noncom owner

KXGJ-FM Victoria TX is changing hands, as well as a co-owned FM translator well to the Victoria station’s east. The other station is K210DF Lake Jackson TX.


The seller is two facilities is KSBJ Educational Foundation Inc., headed by Randy Schroeder.

The buyer, headed by Roberto Villarreal, is Aleluya Broadcasting Network.

The price will be $500K cash, with $25K placed in escrow to seal the deal.

KXGJ is a Class C3 on 89.3 MHz with 9.5 kW @ 377’. The community is north of Corpus Christi and west of Houston. The translator, beaming out 250 W, also on 89.3 MHz, is in a seaside community south of Houston.
