With some recent transactions breaking the logjam, Wall Street analysts are now asking broadcasting CEOs about prospects for the M&A market. And while LIN Media is less likely than some other companies to be on the prowl for major acquisitions – with a focus on de-leveraging – CEO Vince Sadusky has been watching what’s happening in the marketplace.
He was asked about prospects for M&A activity in 2012 by Wells Fargo Securities analyst Marci Ryvicker during the LIN Media quarterly conference call. Saduskky had this to say:
