Metropolitan area Detroiters have found themselves shuffling limited resources just to survive. During this bitter cold season, needy school children will brave the cold to get to school and some will stay home due to lack of proper warm clothing.
On 1/18 at 11AM, hundreds of needy children will be able to get a brand new coat free due to a special partnership. The Kmart partnership with WADL-TV38 further reinforces what community commitment is about states Lewis Gibbs President of WADL-TV38.
Any family receiving assistance from the department of family services will be able to get a brand new coat.
